LAHORE: Competitiveness Support Fund, partner institution of the World Economic Forum in Pakistan, will participate the Dalian Conference in China from September 6-8, along with key private sector leaders and government representatives.

According to a spokesman of CSF, the forum has been instrumental in assisting the World Economic Forum in identifying the next generation of global business champions in Pakistan. Thesef champions, known as the Global Growth Companies, will be brought together in an unprecedented meeting in the Chinese city of Dalian. By addressing key issues hindering economic growth in Pakistan,CSF has been successful in creating partnerships amongst the private se<;tor leaders, government and aau:lemia to address the challenges ., and opportunities of the globalize economy.

CSF has partnered with the PBC and its members to create awareness for initiatives improving weaknesses of the private sector in Pakistan such as willingness to delegate authority, extent of staff training, reliance on professional management, extent of incentive compensation, extent of regional sa1es company spending on research & development, building capacity for innovation.-APP
