ISLAMABAD: Lars Eklund, President of Barcelona-based World Competitiveness Institute (WCI), will arrive here on on Monday on a three-days visit, says a press release.
He will meet the high-level government officials, representatives of the private sector and heads of key universities to discuss the regional conference and share his views with Pakistani officials about the international best practices on innovation and competitiveness.
Mr Eklund will also meet Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.
His visit is related to the WCI Regional Conference on Competitiveness and Eco-nomic Growth for Asia and Pacific to be held in Pakistan in May. The conference is being organized by the Competitiveness Support Fund, sponsored by the USAID, and under the auspices of WCI and the ministry of finance.
