The Second Workshop on Innovation was held at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Lahore on the 24th of May 2010. Dr. Sohail Naqvi, Executive Director, Higher Education Commission chaired the meeting. Dr. Lars Eklund conducted various exercises that helped the participants highlight the problems faced by Pakistan’s Innovation Eco-System.  

A workshop on Innovation was held on the 4th of March 2010 at the Karachi Marriott. On the occasion presentations were made by Dr. Sohail Naqvi, Ms. Jehan Ara, Dr. Samar Mubarakmand, and Dr. Lars Eklund. The participants engaged in several exercises that helped them brainstorm about the hurdles to innovation in Pakistan.   

The second meeting of the Pakistan Innovation Board was held via video conferencing on Friday, May 15th 2009. It was chaired by Dr. Sohail Naqvi, the Executive Director of HEC. The members discussed relevant policy issues and deliberated on various innovation indicators.”   

The first meeting was held via videoconferencing, hosted by Dr. Sohail Naqvi, Executive Director of the Higher Education Commission.  It was held on Wednesday, April 29th from 11am-12:30pm.  Almost all the members were able to attend and a very useful discussion ensued.
